Chefs de Mission Seminar Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games

As the "One Year to Go" countdown began for the 5th Asian Para Games, two representatives from NPC Bangladesh joined delegates from 31 National Paralympic Committees in Japan for the official Chefs de Mission (CDM) Seminar. This high-level gathering was the first major milestone in ensuring that our national contingent is fully prepared for the games, which will be held from 18–24 October 2026.

During the four-day seminar, our representatives engaged in detailed briefings with the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games Organising Committee (AINAGOC) and the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC). Key focus areas included:

• Operational Logistics: Updates on accreditation, transport, and the innovative "floating village" accommodation concepts.
• Venue Inspections: Direct visits to the Paloma Mizuho Stadium (Para Athletics and Ceremonies) and the newly built Aichi International Arena.
• Classification & Competition: Finalizing sport-specific entry timelines and reviewing the latest classification requirements to ensure our athletes meet all international standards.
