Bangladesh celebrated its most successful international campaign at the 5th Asian Youth Para Games. A determined contingent of 25 athletes represented the nation, securing a historic total of 5 medals (3 Gold, 2 Bronze) against elite competition from across Asia.
Performance Highlights:
- Chaiti Rani Deb (Athletics): Delivered a standout performance, winning two Gold medals in the Girls’ Javelin Throw and the 100m Sprint.
- Mohammad Shahidullah (Swimming): Displayed incredible speed in the pool, clinching Gold in the 50m Freestyle and Bronze in the 100m Freestyle.
- Team Success: Our youth athletes showed immense growth, contributing to a final tally that placed Bangladesh among the top performing emerging nations.
A New Era for Bangladesh
This milestone achievement reflects the success of our recent intensive training programs at BKSP. By ranking 20th overall, these young ambassadors have proven that Bangladesh is a rising power in Para sports. NPC Bangladesh remains committed to nurturing this "Golden Generation" as they transition toward the senior international circuit and the 2026 Asian Para Games.
