Gwangju 2025 World Archery Para Championships

Bangladesh proudly marked its presence on the world stage at the 2025 World Archery Para Championships in Gwangju, Korea. Competing among 239 elite archers from 47 nations, our three-member athlete delegation demonstrated exceptional resilience and technical skill, further establishing Bangladesh as a rising force in international Para-archery.

Historical Performance: A Semifinal Breakthrough

The highlight of the championship was the stellar performance of our top-ranked archer, who successfully navigated through the elimination rounds to reach the semifinals. This achievement represents a historic milestone for NPC Bangladesh, marking the first time a Bangladeshi Para-archer has advanced to the final four in a World Championship setting.
