The National Para Badminton Championship 2025 was successfully held at the Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Indoor Stadium, showcasing the high level of skill and competitiveness among the nation's best para-shuttlers. Organized by the National Paralympic Committee of Bangladesh, the event served as a major platform for athletes to vie for national titles and ranking points.

The championship featured matches across various international classifications defined by the Badminton World Federation (BWF):

  • Wheelchair Classes (WH1–WH2): Demonstrating incredible upper-body strength and tactical maneuvering.
  • Standing Classes (SL3–SL4, SU5): Fast-paced matches emphasizing agility, balance, and rapid court coverage.
  • Short Stature Class (SH6): High-energy rallies showcasing technical precision and speed.

This tournament was a critical component of the national selection process for the Japan Para Badminton International 2025 and the upcoming 2026 Asian Para Games. Coaches and technical officials monitored the performance of 60+ athletes to identify top talent for the high-performance training camps at BKSP. The event also highlighted the growth of the sport in Bangladesh, with a significant increase in youth participation compared to previous years.
