21 Jan 2026

10–11 October 2025 | Multiple Venues, Dhaka

NPC Bangladesh successfully organized the National Youth Para Games, a premier multi-sport event aimed at identifying and nurturing the next generation of para-sporting talent. Over two action-packed days, hundreds of young athletes from across the country competed in three core disciplines, showcasing extraordinary skill and competitive spirit.

Venues and Disciplines

To provide a professional competition environment, the games were distributed across Dhaka’s top sports complexes:

  • Para Athletics: Held at the National Stadium, featuring track and field events including sprints, long jump, and javelin throw.
  • Para Swimming: Hosted at the Syed Nazrul Islam National Swimming Complex, with events covering various distances in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke.
  • Para Taekwondo: Conducted at the National Taekwondo Federation Ground, focusing on Kyorugi (sparring) and Poomsae (forms).

The primary objective of these Games was to scout high-potential athletes for the 2025 Asian Youth Para Games in Dubai. Technical committees conducted rigorous functional classifications during the event to ensure athletes were placed in the correct categories for fair competition.

The record-breaking participation at this year's National Youth Para Games reflects the growing interest in inclusive sports and serves as a vital stepping stone for our athletes to transition from grassroots levels to the international podium.
